NCSY Ottawa runs exciting programs and events for Jewish high school teens and Juniors in Grades 6-8, in Ottawa. Through our social, recreational, and learning programs, we connect teens to their Jewish heritage in a way that is meaningful and accessible to our teens. NCSY and Torah High Ottawa are proud beneficiaries of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa.

NCSY is looking for volunteers to fill the following placements:
NCSY Advisor:
Are you an observant university student or young adult who would like to share your time and talent to serve as a role model for Jewish teens? There’s nothing more fulfilling than introducing a teen to a passionate Jewish future and guiding them along the way. NCSY is the premier Jewish organization dedicated to connecting, inspiring, and empowering today’s Jewish teenagers. Through innovative programming and meaningful relationships with positive Jewish role models, NCSY is able to connect with 15,000 Jewish teens a year. NCSY views its advisors as the most important component in connecting Jewish teens with passionate Judaism.
Requirements:
• Hardworking, enthusiastic, creative
• Sincere about their Judaism, enjoy learning and teaching Torah, observant in Jewish practice.
Advisors will:
• Listen to teens and provide guidance,
• Accept teens unconditionally while having fun in a safe and supportive environment,
• Connect with teens during NCSY programs,
• Attend our weekly Learn & Earn sessions to act as mentors in small learning groups,
• Attend other NCSY programs to help things function smoothly and to serve as strong Jewish role models.
