Yom HaShoah is commemorated throughout the world as the most significant day for Holocaust Remembrance within the Jewish community. On this day, we remember the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust, and we invite the Jewish community and all Canadians to take a moment to reflect on the past and continue to take a stand against hate and antisemitism in each of our communities.

Hear the inspiring story of Mariette Doduck, a child survivor of the Holocaust, dedicated Holocaust educator, and author of the acclaimed memoir 'A Childhood Unspoken.' In addition, we welcome Holocaust survivors who will lead the candle-lighting ceremony.
