Israel
Federation has a special connection to Israel and to Jewish people around the globe.
Through unique, innovative programs administered by the Jewish Federations of North America and our overseas partners, American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) , the Federation is able to bring life-saving and life-sustaining care to Jews in more than 65 countries throughout the world. The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) is our advocacy partner that guides our national policies and positions on a range of issues.
From social action missions and scholarships to partnership programs, Federation strives to establish a vibrant connection between Ottawa and Israel, helping people forge a fulfilling and supportive relationship with our Jewish homeland.
