The Book of Amos, which is only nine chapters long, appears in any full copy of the Hebrew Bible or of the 12 Prophets. In this Adath Shalom congregation adult education ZOOM event, David Brooks discusses what makes Amos one of the most widely quoted prophets, and the one most often regarded as a socioeconomic activist.
