Every synagogue of every affiliation participated by running their own Shabbat program and then meeting up for a Community Unity Havdallah. It was an incredibly powerful experience. And this is what the Shabbat Project is about: accessing the experience of keeping Shabbat, together, as Jews around the world. The inspiring gift that Shabbat is – both for ourselves and our families – emerges only when we live out Shabbat practically,in a real and experiential way.​
