Concert and exhibit commemorating 75th anniversary of the saving of the Bulgarian Jews during WWII.
The Power of Free Spirit is the exhibit provided by the Bulgarian embassy. This exhibition chronicles the resistance by the citizens of Bulgaria, the brave refusal of society to obey the authorities' plans to send Bulgarian Jews to Nazi concentration camps. The presentation will begin at 6pm followed by reception. The concert Hebrew Melody is consisting music by Jewish composers as well several Yiddish songs.
