Straddling Two Worlds: The Modernist Yiddish Poetry of Montreal's Jacob-Isaac Segal

The Council of the Jacob M. Lowy Collection,with the support of the Friends of Library and Archives Canada, will present a lecture by Pierre Anctil, Professor, Department of History, uOttawa on Sunday March 29 at 3:00 p.m. on the 2nd floor, National Library and Archives of Canada, 395 Wellington Street<

The lecture is entitled "Straddling Two Worlds: The Modernist Yiddish Poetry of Montreal's Jacob-Isaac Segal.

As well, there will be an exhibition of rare documents from the Jacob M. Lowy Collection.

Seating is limited and will be allotted on a first come, first served basis.

A Wine and Cheese Reception will follow the lecture.
