Or Haneshamah, Ottawa's Reconstructionist Community and 1st Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa are co sponsoring a Syrian refugee family of 9 to come to Canada. In order to raise some additional funds we are holding a Sunday evening concert and silent auction at the 1st Unitarian Congregation building. Music will be provided by the Silver Swing Band, and food will be provided by members of the Syrian Community of Ottawa, located at 30 Cleary Avenue, Ottawa. All funds raised will go towards the support of the Syrian family.
