In keeping with the Jewish Statement of Solidarity with Canada’s Aboriginal communities
to commit to action, support, and education to foster closer ties and stronger
understanding between the Aboriginal peoples of Canada and the Jewish community,
Temple Israel is honoured to host representatives from the Odawa Native Friendship
Centre at a gathering of the booths this year. For over 30 years the Odawa Centre has
worked to promote and celebrate First Nations, Métis and Inuit culture in Ottawa, and
provide a wide range of programming and essential services to Ottawa’s Aboriginal
communities.
Join us this Sukkot, as we share tradition with our Aboriginal friends and learn about our
opportunities for partnership.
