Dr. Shawna Dolansky Professor, College of the Humanities and Department of Religion, Carleton University Dr. Shawna Dolansky has an M.A. in Judaic Studies and a Ph.D. in History from the University of California, San Diego. Her major area of research was The History of Israel in the Biblical Period. Her minor research studies were in Ancient Near Eastern History and Religions and The Bible in Western Literature. She is co-author of the Book, "The Bible Now" and author of "Now You See It, Now You Don’t:: Biblical Perspectives on the Relationship Between Religion and Magic."
