friends and members of SAO,

We are glad to announce the schedule of the Sephardi High Holiday services (see schedule below), and a very special event to celebrate the first night of Rosh Hashanah. You are invited to join us for a typical Sephardic festive New Year dinner and seder on Sunday, September 25, 2022. The dinner and seder will take place after the service that will start at 6:30 pm. The services will be conducted by Chazan Dr. Aviv Ouanounou from Toronto, who has been leading many of our celebrations in the last years. Rabbi Aryeh Kravetz from Beit Tikvah and his family will also join us in this special celebration.

The service as well as the festive dinner and seder will take place in the social hall of Congregation Beit Tikvah (15 Chartwell Ave, Nepean, ON K2G 4K3).

The fee for the dinner and seder is $55 per adult and $25 per child under 12 years old. You can make your payment through an etransfer to info@sephardiottawa.ca or send your cheque to Sephardi Association of Ottawa, 3781 Strandherd Drive, P.O. Box 34032. Nepean, ON K2J 5B1.

Please, register by sending an email isaac_nahon@hotmail.com (indicating how many people will be joining us) before Thursday, September 15 (places are limited). Note that there is no fee to attend the religious services.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Shalom,
