We commence the High Holiday season with a Selichot worship service, traditionally associated as the time that the Gates of Heaven are opened to our prayers for forgiveness. It’s during this late night worship service that we look inwardly and externally in order to ready ourselves for the year ahead.

Leading into our service, we will have the opportunity to learn with a panel of local Jewish professionals who have been instrumental in guiding our Ottawa community on a counter offensive to the onset of Anti-Semitism in the region. Rabbi Daniel Mikelberg will lead a conversation with Dr. Cary Cogan (U. of Ottawa), Richard Marceau (CIJA) and David Sachs (JFO)
