An opportunity to mark the New Year with a Ritual of Transition!
Naomi Bulka Mikveh, rear of the Soloway JCC, entry from parking lot
It is customary to use the mikveh at times of transition, whether in one’s personal life or at times throughout the Jewish year. I will be leading a ritual involving the use of the mikveh to mark the ending of 5772, and the beginning of the New Year, 5773.
I have attached some information about the mikveh ritual, and what to expect.
Women are welcome to come at any point during this block of time. The ritual itself takes about 30 minutes depending on how long it takes you to prepare, and how long you wish for prayer and meditation.
A donation of $18 to 36 will be accepted to offset the cost of the use of the mikveh. Please bring your cash donation in an envelope. (Please NOTE no one will be turned away if they are unable to contribute.)
