Adath Shalom Adult Education presents a ZOOM presentation by Michael Tobias on the history of Scotland's Jewish Community from the late 17th Century to the present. Michael will discuss where the Jews came to Scotland from, and how the size of the community has varied. He will also talk about the Jewish communities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and other towns; and some remarkable Jewish individuals. Michael is a native of Glasgow, has an active leadership role in its Jewish community. He has a MSc in Genealogical, Paleographic, and Heraldic Studies.
