As Progressive Zionists, these are difficult days. We grapple with the actions of the current Knesset that are counter to our vision for our beloved homeland. We yearn for the values of democracy and social justice to be reflected for one and all in Israel: Jews and Arabs, secular and religious Jews, left wing and right wing citizens, Jews of Eastern and Western descent etc. It’s with great sadness and concern that we note how polarized these communities and their viewpoints have become. Let’s delve into the complicated realities alongside books and podcasts to guide our chats.
