Commemoration Ceremony: Ottawa City Hall; Jean Piggott Place

The Master of Ceremonies will be Rabbi Reuven P. Bulka, CM. Confirmed speakers include Mayor Jim Watson; Ms. Salma Siddiqui, President of the Coalition of Progressive Canadian Muslim Organizations; the Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Employment and Social Development and Minister for Multiculturalism; Mr. Justin Trudeau, Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada; the Ambassadors of Germany, Israel, Poland and Turkey. Floralove Katz, Soprano, will sing songs of the Holocaust. Cantor Moshe Kraus, survivor of Bergen-Belsen, will sing “Kel Maley Rachamim” and recite Kaddish. Holocaust survivors and Jewish War Veterans, will place six flowers in a vase, representing the six million Jewish murder victims.
