Join banjo player and sociologist, Stephen Richer, for an insightful and musically entertaining look at the life and music of Pete Seeger.
Stephen Richer has been a folk/protest singer since his late teens and was a singer/activist during both the civil rights and anti-Vietnam movements. He is currently a Professor Emeritus of Sociology at Carleton University, where he was the head of the Sociology and Anthropology Department and coordinator of graduate studies. He currently teaches courses at Carleton on the history of protest music.
