  at the age of 100.  Cantor Kraus was a world-famous chazan who spent the 
 last 50 years of his life in Ottawa.  Aside from his inimitable talent in 
 chazanus he was a very strong proponent of Holocaust awareness\, speaking 
 all over the world to educate and make sure nobody forgets the Shoah.  The
