Jenny Burns is the Or Haneshamah Family Educator. She has an academic background in Humanities (BHums) and Folklore Studies (MA). Dating back to the Occupy Wall Street movement, she’s researched, written, and presented on issues of global/local dynamics in community programming. Nov. 10 Jenny will interweave these issues with the unintentional yet harmful Romanticizing of “Tradition” in our Judaism.
