Please join our Annual Campaign video!
To help launch the 2019 Annual Campaign, we are creating a community video to share our vision of the Jewish Superhighway. The Superhighway is a metaphor for a network of meaningful Jewish experiences and journeys for all ages and interests, where life is vibrant and no one is left behind.
Video outline:
Imagine seeing a few community members walking on the pathway up to the Jewish Community Campus, along the way they are joined by other community members. The group is quickly joined by more and more happy, smiling people of all ages, (people using wheelchairs, canes, pushing baby strollers etc., children with school bags, families, seniors), all coming toward their community hub, in a supportive, swelling crowd.
We want to include as many community members as possible!
What being part of the video will involve:
Join us at the Soloway JCC on June 18 at 7:30 pm. Filming may take about 30 mins. Refreshments to follow. (Rain date will be June 19.)
Bring your family members, children with backpacks, babies in strollers, relatives using wheelchairs, everyone is welcome! Be prepared to smile, wave, link arms, hold hands, push strollers or wheelchairs, as we all make our way together from the end of the parking lot to the front doors of the SJCC.
There will be a producer on hand to help guide all extras on where to stand and when to enter the shot.
This will be a fun, community-building event where we can share our spirit and enthusiasm.
The video will makes its public debut at the Annual Campaign Kickoff on Sept. 16 at Centrepointe Theatre. (Ticket and details for Kickoff will be shared soon.) The video will also be shared on our website and on social media.
