Untold Stories: Yom HaShoah Commemoration with Mariette Doduck, Author of 'A Childhood Unspoken'

Join us for a profound evening of remembrance and resilience. On Sunday, May 5th, 2024, the Jewish Federation of Ottawa invites you to our annual Yom HaShoah commemoration. Together, we honor the six million lives lost in the Holocaust and stand united against hate and antisemitism.

Hear the inspiring story of Mariette Doduck, a child survivor of the Holocaust, dedicated Holocaust educator, and author of the acclaimed memoir 'A Childhood Unspoken.' Her compelling narrative will illuminate the importance of remembrance and education in shaping a more tolerant and inclusive society.

Please join us for the Jewish Federation of Ottawa's annual commemoration of Yom HaShoah, and hear from Mariette Doduck, a child survivor of the Holocaust, committed Holocaust educator, and author of the powerful memoir “A Childhood Unspoken”.

Whether attending in person at the Soloway Jewish Community Centre or tuning in via our live stream on our Facebook page, we invite all to participate in this poignant occasion.
