Over recent years, we have gotten to know our neighbors at St John the Evangelist Anglican Church. By coincidence, both our Temple and St John’s have welcomed new clergy from Toronto. Rabbi Daniel Mikelberg and Rev Gary van der Meer have become colleagues and friends, both committed to a vision of community grounded in faith, social justice and love. Rev van der Meer will join us for Shabbat service on Nov 4th and preach on our weekly Parasha. Rabbi Mikelberg will return the favour at church on Sunday Nov 6th at 10:30 focusing on the weekly readings. Let’s welcome our new friends on Friday night and make further bridges on Sunday morning.
