Come Celebrate Purim with Us!
Wednesday, March 23 from 6:30 – 9:30 will be a time for merriment, for Reimagining JuBus on the Roof, for getting your girly-girl, your manly-man and your otherwise ridiculous costumes on, for baking your most awe-filled hamentashen, for a rollicking good time for all ages.
We’ll be making the traditional goody baskets – Mishlo’ach Manot – together, read themegilah in our own unpatented mixture of English, Hebrew and Silly, collect donations (cash or cans) for the Kosher Food Bank, parade our costumes, taste-test Hamentashen (and hand out fabulous prizes for Best Costume and Best Hamentashen) and raise our voices in OrH harmony.
So bake a batch to compete or to share, bring a contribution for Matanot L’evyonim (gifts for those in need), and don’t forget to dress up (and, if you like, bring some fruit of the vine or other libations to share).
