The Bora Laskin Law Society is excited to announce our next event, a reception featuring a talk by Alan Kessel, Assistant Deputy Minister of Legal Affairs and The Legal Adviser to Global Affairs Canada. Mr. Kessel's talk is titled "Canada in International Law: At the Inflection Point" and will feature his thoughts on the subject informed by his broad and deep experience as a practitioner and a Canadian diplomat.

The reception will take place at 7PM on November 7, 2018 at the offices of Gowling WLG (Suite 2600, 160 Elgin, Ottawa). Gowling WLG has generously and graciously agreed to host and sponsor this event.
