The Hebrew Bible recounts many stories of strong female role models who have unfortunately been misinterpreted as negative or even evil. The Biblical Miriam, for example, has been called racist and the Biblical Jezebel has come down to us as sexually promiscuous. Neither of these characterizations is necessarily accurate. Judith Maeryam will discuss her interactions with Biblical archetypes and how they are relevant to our lives today.
