Israel's Supreme Court as a Model for Democratic Activism: Can Israel maintain its democratic yet Jewish identity? The Israeli Supreme Court is arguably the most activist court in the world, guarding democratic values and human rights with great zeal. In this session participants will review some major moral questions regarding Israels' commitment to human rights and get a better understanding of the role of the Supreme Court on these issues. Led by a human rights activist, the session will review some major social revolutions and will discuss Israel's social question marks.
