Limmud Ottawa was founded to invigorate and celebrate Jewish life by bringing together Jews from across a wide spectrum of experience, ages and background. We intend to reflect the diversity of ideas and thoughts of the Jewish community. We encourage everyone to take part in creating their own Jewish experience. Our intentions are to have our participants become further engaged in Jewish life, to be empowered to take action in shaping the broader Jewish community.We are all responsible for each other and for the community we create. Limmud is a community of learning where we can achieve more together than we can individually. Everyone has an important contribution to make; volunteerism is a core feature of everything we do. We also believe in the richness of our diverse community and strive to create cross-communal and cross generational experiences.
