The Soloway Jewish Community Centre is seeking a reliable, mature, responsible, and energetic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative for our Member & Guest Services team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, conducting membership sales and handling inquiries with professionalism and care. Reporting to the Front Desk Supervisor, you’ll collaborate closely with SJCC staff and departments to ensure our members feel supported and valued.

Duties include.
• Be the first point of contact for members and guests entering the building and welcoming them in a friendly and professional manner.
• Create a hospitable and relaxing environment for all members and guests
• Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all members and guests
• Maintain the reception in a tidy and presentable manner
Required Skill
• Punctual
• Ability to work effectively with a team
• Computer literate on all platforms and able to learn SJCC Amilia and Avigilon programs
• Detail oriented, focused, organized, ability to understand member and guest needs
• Ability to multi-task
• High energy, quick thinking, takes initiative
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Conduct point-of-sale transactions and ensure that all data and sales are corrected
• Answers all membership and customer inquiries within guidelines and policies.
• Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
Qualifications
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a Customer Service position
• Criminal Background Check required prior to start of employment.
• Secondary School (preferred)
