Ottawa Modern Jewish School (OMJS) is seeking a Principal for the upcoming 2024 - 2025 School Year.

For 60 years, Ottawa Modern Jewish School (OMJS) has established itself in Ottawa as the non-affiliated, supplemental school offering quality Jewish education for Kindergarten to Grade 7. We attract a variety of families from the Ottawa Jewish community, including non-religious, unaffiliated and interfaith families. The curriculum connects children with their Jewish roots and cultural heritage by focusing on subject areas covering all aspects of Jewish life and culture as well as learning to read and understand basic Hebrew.

OMJS is seeking a Principal for our upcoming 2024-2025 school year. As the face of OMJS, this part-time position (~20 hours/week) involves working closely with the Board and teachers to carry out the OMJS vision and values, to develop the current and future student population, and to create a safe and inclusive environment.
