The Ottawa Vaad Hakashrut is seeking an exceptional and dynamic individual to work as a full time Mashgiach with a local catering facility in our food service department. The successful candidate will join our team of professionals and will report to the Director of the Vaad. This position is available immediately.

Experience with a catering facility or restaurant is desirable, but a candidate who meets all other qualifications can be provided with training. This position requires someone who has good communication skills, is reliable, and can excel in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be Shomer Torah U'Mitzvah.

As the successful candidate, you appreciate the significance of the Ottawa Vaad Hakashrut in the community, and the important role which the Mashgiach occupies within the Vaad. You understand your responsibility in delivering uncompromising excellence in Kashrut, within a Jewish community made up of individuals of diverse backgrounds and varying degrees and methods of observance.

Remuneration for this role will be based upon experience and abilities, including a competitive salary. A relocation package may be available. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
