CBBO is seeking a dynamic Inclusion Coordinator who will ensure that campers of all abilities are supported and are able to enjoy their camp experience! Reporting to the Assistant Director of Camper Care, this role will be responsible for the inclusion of campers of all needs in summer programs, while developing a welcoming environment designed to foster friendships and promote social interactions. This role will be responsible for removing program barriers, and working with unit heads and staff to be equipped with the information, skills, and supplies they need to provide support to all campers. This role begins during the year (part-time, with flexible hours) to help with the onboarding process of campers who require extra support.

- Act as a resource for the camp team regarding inclusion challenges and provide support and behaviour management strategies
- Ensure the safety of all campers
- Develop, prepare and implement some of the Inclusion Staff training
- Ensure proper record keeping of information, complete forms, and prepare reports and evaluations as required
- Provides verbal and written feedback to Supervisors regarding staff performance
- Be prepared with backup plans for rainy days and unexpected occasions
- Ensure staff performance evaluations are completed in a timely manner
- End-of-summer reports (exit report) for campers registered through the inclusion initiative.

- Experience working or volunteering with children and youth, aged 7 to 16 years old
- Knowledge of inclusive support, program adaptations, and behaviour modification techniques in leisure/recreation or camp setting
- Prior summer camp experience is considered an asset
- General knowledge of crisis prevention and intervention strategies with the ability to identify behavioural issues and respond using preventive and de-escalation techniques is considered an asset
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, leadership, and dynamic facilitation skills
- Experience supervising and mentoring others
- Team leader with strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
- Knowledge of effective behaviour management techniques is considered an asset
- Comfortable working in a high-paced, active and outdoor camp environment

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Preferred and 3-5 years of experience.
