I am writing to express my interest in the Developmental Services Worker (DSW) position at Tamir. As a dedicated and compassionate DSW student with hands-on experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, I am eager to contribute my skills and commitment to your team.

Through my placements at Adrienne Clarkson School, Knoxdale Public School, Hazelwood House (Day Program), and Fairloway (Group Home), I have gained valuable experience in behavior management, communication strategies, and assisting individuals with daily living activities. I have worked with individuals with varying support needs, including nonverbal communication, behavioral challenges, and sensory sensitivities. My experience includes facilitating engagement in meaningful activities, implementing individualized support plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the well-being of those in my care.

Currently I am working with Partners in parenting as a Resudential support worker and behavioural councillor.
