• Save the date for Mitzvah Day!

On Mitzvah Day, members from the Jewish Community come together to volunteer their time and energy in the spirit of Tikkun Olam, “repairing the world”. The aim is to help not only the Jewish community, but the broader Ottawa community as well, giving a helping hand to those in need and the amazing organizations serving them. Mitzvah Day is not a fundraiser; it is about teaching our children and experiencing for ourselves the value and importance of one person helping another.

  • 2018 Annual Campaign video

Federation is the ONE organization that works across Jewish Ottawa and unites us all. Put simply: A gift to the Federation’s Annual Campaign enables our entire community to function, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
This year, we adapted a video from the Jewish Federation of North America. We hope that this inspiring and universal Jewish message resonates with you.

  • 2018 Chai Challenge

We are excited to introduce the 2018 Chai Challenge. This is a special initiative where we are urging donors to be a lifeline and consider an increased gift to the Annual Campaign in a multiple of $18. Giving a "Chai" increase speaks to our heritage and is achievable by everyone in their own way, whether you give $36 or $1,800.
